Very true. Although I have heard that the initial news reports (the first ones are always good for snippits of info as they haven't had time to get their stories right) was that she walked out of the car into the ambulance. But from what I understand, whatever happened in that ambulance which took almost 2 hours to do a 15 min journey, she didn't make it out alive. That was the back up plan if she survived the crash. All the lights/CCTV cameras were out in the tunnel, and strangely enough all the Police radios went down just before it happened.
