NASA, tired of numerous requests to show the "original lunar landing tapes," said it had lost them. All 700 boxes. And the Americans can't go back to the moon yet, because they lost the technology too.

So today, when any smartphone has more processing power than all the 1969 computers combined, NASA claims we can't go back to the moon because we've "lost the technology".

Lost the technology to make spacesuits and all the individual ingenious solutions, from unique radiation protection, to ingenious temperature control. We've lost the super-heavy launch vehicles without which the moon landing is impossible. Lost the capability and technology to make them. They lost all the lunar soil (almost 300 kg!) and now they are begging for several grams of samples from other countries.
