My power went out for a few hours today so I used it to disconnect, enjoy the peace and quiet while reading a new book I recently got.

I'm not sure if I'm 'distancing' myself from those with ego's (I was around pre-teens today and they have a lot of it.... π¬) or from the daily grind of everyday life we're just to 'accept' or of it's something else; or I have become more Stoic to todays life
