Strangely enough, I cut an apple into slices for a cheese board on Saturday, and, on Sunday, the core - that I put in the scraps container for the chickens - was not brown. 😳

Strange.... I never buy apples anymore... they don't look healthy and are never sweet.... the skins look artificially red and shiny.... I like speckled natural looking fruit.....
