My routine has been do 24-48 hrs once a month or every other month (the more frequent you do, the easier it gets), to renew/reset one's immune system to regenerate/create new White blood cells to fight foreign virus/parasites. But on a weekly basis, i do at least 2x of 16-18 hrs of fast.
