Hanukkah begins at sundown Dec 7, 2023. The first day is Dec 8,2023. This coincides with the feast of The Immaculate Conception of Mary. (think Maccabee’s dedication of the second Temple- Hanukkah). Hanukkah is an eight day celebration.
Hanukkah ends Fryday Dec 15. Think 10 days. Think 2 days ahead of schedule. Think three days in the tomb which was really only 1 FULL day (2 days ahead of schedule). Jewish concept of days vs mordern concepts.
