An atheist punishing Christians for being christian is obviously wrong, right? Freedom of religion is at the core of a diverse nation being able to exist. It's the first amendment.

Equally, a Christian punishing atheists for being atheists is just as wrong.

Your beliefs are your own. You are entitled to exercising them, as are others to not exercise them. It's your religion. Not theirs.

Mike Johnson demonizing atheists and their non-adherence to Christian values is an affront to the core beliefs of the United States.

So if Speaker Johnson disagrees with your opinions, then he's 'demonizing' you? LOL

The hardcore Democrat supporters are likely not too happy right now. The public sees through all the BS and divisiveness. The brainwashing has been quite effective. Pick a side.

"Johnson suggested Tuesday that the nation's founders believed religion and morality were central to the government."

"They knew that it would be important to maintain our system," he said. "And that’s why I think we need more of that — not an establishment of any national religion — but we need everybody’s vibrant expression of faith because it’s such an important part of who we are as a nation."

Saying that the country will suffer, solely because not enough people adhere to your own beliefs is not "disagreeing"

It is your freedom to disagree with the atheist belief (or lack of), but you're infringing on other's freedom if you disagree with their existence for said belief (or lack of).
There's a very clear distinction between those ideas, and Johnson is stepping into the territory of the latter.

He considers the drop in church attendance frightening. He thinks his God is being mocked, because kids that don't share his faith are taught it's okay to be themselves, and because they aren't taught his Christian values in school. He calls that depraved.
He very clearly thinks it is wrong for people to adhere to values that aren't his own. Calling that disagreement is dishonest to what he's really saying.
