Friday the local police were going to put me in jail because I forgot to pay my truck insurance. $1000. fine, plus truck towing my 22 year old truck .
I traveled 1.2 miles to get a sandwich.
New Cop in town Ran my plate for a stolen vehicle.
I'm 71 years old, Stealing a truck isn't what I do.
I just forgot
They were not nice to me.
UNTIL I found help in the local bar
God sent me an angel who knew the head cop.
The man brought humanity onto the scene.
All because I forgot.
