Last year I cleaned my attic out and took all my Christmas decor to the Salvation Army. I was never going to put a Christmas tree up. My Grandson insisted and is only 7. It’s hard to explain why I don’t want a tree up. So this year I put a tree up. I’m calling it a veterans/military tree. To thank the military for all they have done for this world wide awakening. Some gave some and some gave all. Wwg1wga. I’m not done yet but here it is so far.

Well done! I have a little holiday tree in my kitchen. In the same vein: I decorate it with all the veteran's poppies I've been given over the years while donating; always thought the grands should know that I support the military, and have respect for the veterans that served. The 'big' tree, is always about family memories past: ornaments made by family each year to record something (relatives, farm life, pets passed, births, etc) Our history tree: still waffling on it
