God, I Want To Be Sure

Judges 6:36–37: “So Gideon said to God, ‘If you will save Israel by my hand, as you have said, look, I shall put a fleece of wool on the threshing floor, if there is dew on the fleece only and it is dry on all the ground, then I shall know that you will save Israel by my hand, as you have said.’” Here was his prayer, plain and simple. "God, I want to be sure you're calling me to do this." God is not offended by that prayer. If He starts speaking to your heart about something He wants to do through your life, He is not offended. God is not offended if you're aware of your weakness and inability. If a persistent voice speaks to your heart, calling you to a place you've never been, God wants this honesty. It is the very heart of prayer.
It's time to pray.
