Honestly said, I don´t know if the earth is flat or more a geoid. But water can not be bend and the story we are told is definitely bullshit.

if you use the light beam example on the ball you can kina see how sun light and temp would differ rather then the entire thing being lit up like the moon is perhaps the moon is too small or lacks an atmosphere lol idk
