Well depends on your perspective, if you see it as a Reflection, then it's 5..but if you look closely you can see there are more than 5..I've looked beyond the Reflection, I see 8 because I'm not sure if the other 2 Matchsticks is actually behind the lighter or not..

I've seen this one before and have always counted it 8 like you said. Tonight I was thinking 🤔 of it in a different perspective, but I fell asleep and now can't explain it in the 5 perspective. 😅😴😴🙇🏼‍♀️
I think I was seeing it mirrored somehow beyond the cigarette lighter a bit that finally had me only seeing 5 instead of the 8 perspective I've always seen that you described. 😊
