picture (cars and people) is more like 50ā€™s, 60ā€™s! But in early 1970ā€™s my grocery budget was $25 for groceries a week! and got everything we needed, no kids yet! In 76ā€™ we paid $26,900 for our house (3 bedroom, 1 bath) on 1/4 acre lot in urban area!

got 50 cents for mowing front or back yards! So a dollars for both then go to store and buy a 8 pack (not 6) pack of Pepsi in bottles that Iā€™d drink one a day! and add a quarter to ge5 bag of candy and chips too! can you imagine that now? Crazy!!
Those were the days! šŸ„°šŸ™šŸ¼
