That's why I don't practice Catholicism anymore. I couldn't get over how ritual-driven it is. It's almost the same thing every time I go to church with my family growing up. No wonder why I was bored and don't have any keen interests in it. The only upside I got from going to a private Catholic high school was the moral values, community services, and the act to show kindness and respect of others. That's it. I'm glad that I drifted on my own and navigating this tricky body of water with my own discernments. God bless!
