Mama has always said, "folks got wormed, every six months, with castor oil, young to old, rich to poor, regardless of color, or money" etc. Said "I don't know why they stopped doing that." Said that decades ago....

They also used to deworm babies when they were born. I remember my mother telling me that it was quite common. However, today they sure don’t! Also, interestingly enough, we still do it to all animals when they’re born.🤔🧐

Yep mama said even the little kids would get lined up and wormed....my fam has been in Ga. on that side since they "came off the boat" lol from Ireland....I was told. Said the way back ones used it also.

The thing I found interesting is that at the time this was done in the hospital. So if it was such a good thing, why was it stopped? Follow the money.
