It pains me to ask for help, I've always done for myself. I've spent 27 years with the same company, and I'm unsure what the future of that business will be going forward. Everything was destroyed in the fire. The insurance settlement will be that deciding factor if we can rebuild.
Most of my creditors allowed 30 day grace period due to the tragedy we encountered, but as time ticks by, still in this shitty situation, still without water or electricity.
I've extremely grateful for the donations I've received. It's been incredibly helpful, and has given my family some time to await the insurance company's decision. Some donated money has already been used for items to get through this situation.
