The point missing from this exchange is HCQ probably would have kept most people out of the hospital to begin with. "Stay home until your lips turn blue" is not science or medical care and probably caused many deaths that could have been avoided. Restricting therapies to prevent or stop progression of the virus is the first among many crimes.
