Now it would be interesting to find out if that humic acid is in vegetables grown in that type of soil.

So far haven't found anything saying that it does but does say that vegetables grown in the type of soil uptakes nutrients better. I've been using a soil mixture from a local organic farmer who composts everything on his dairy farm and adds peat from the swamp... humic acid comes from peat.
