Aphorism xxvi. Poise is Power. Poise results from Balance. Balance is
secured by adjusting and maintaining the Centre between the Poles of
the Pairs of Opposites. By Balanced Poise the Master neutralizes Polarity and Rhythm, by resolving them into Unity. In the Heart of the Storm is Peace. In the Centre of Life there is Poise and Power. Seek it ever, O Neophyte—for in it thou shalt find thy Self.

In continuum ;
He/she yearns to master the art of traversing the razor-edge of Life, balancing him/herself perfectly, like the trained mental athlete that he is, by means of the balancing-pole of the Opposites which he/she has firmly grasped. Pitting the Opposites one against the other—balancing law by law—the Master traverses the slender tight rope thread which separates the world of desire from the world of will.
O Neophyte, in the Centre of Life shalt thou indeed find Poise and Power. In the Heart of the Storm shalt thou find Peace. In the Centre of the Cosmos shalt thou find THYSELF. He/She who finds the Centre of Him/Herself, finds the Centre of the Cosmos. For, at the last, they are ONE.

The Brotherhood of Adepts
The world is guided and directed to a large extent by a Brotherhood of Adepts to which our Masters belong. Theosophical students make all sorts of mistakes about them. They often regard them as a great monastic community, all living together in some secret place. They suppose them sometimes to be Angels, and many of our students have thought that they were all Indian, or that they all resided in the Himalayas. None of these hypotheses is true. There is a great Brotherhood, and its Members are in constant communication with one another; but their communication is on higher planes and they do not necessarily live together. As part of their work, some of these great Brothers whom we call Masters of the Wisdom are willing to take pupil apprentices and teach them; but they form only a small section of the mighty Body of Perfected Men

I AM on a path and will continue to aspire to seek knowledge and understanding. It would always be in my best interest to say at times " I do not know" instead of making judgements based off of limited experience.
I AM learning and growing in awareness of a much greater connectedness that is not of the flesh. I feel fortunate in my heart to be "here" in my studies.
