They are not stupid. They are cunning as serpents and decieved. They are blinded to everything by their hatred for one man.

Well Q says they are Sick and Stupid. But yeah Serpents can only think so far. Reptilian brain usually reacts, they act on reactions. What do Lizards do when you walk towards them? They scatter and run in their holes.
