The Great lakes region is being inundated with some type of gas? They say it's just smoke from the forest fires, but many of us say otherwise. . We are in North Central Ohio and we have smelt some gassy substance... Few days ago my wife thought there was a leak from our LPG tank, but it was fine... Who knows what these freaks are doing to us

It was like that when the alberta fires were really going. We have a pretty big fire season most years and the smoke always smells similar to campfires. This time the smoke smelled like a chemical burn. We stayed inside as much as possible, closed windows, turned off the furnace fan and ran the air purifier on high. I recommend the air purifier, I got it due to our usual fire seasons, made a huge difference. Also stay out of the first rain and keep your windows closed right after the rain. When it first rained here everything smelled like chemicals, it was gross. We then had 4 days of rain that washed it all away and it is good now.
