Every time I have seen this, my breath deepens and my heart has a settled rejoicing, knowing that there are STILL many who understand how to rear stable, strong, reasonable children!
I LOVE THAT MOM for knowing how to acknowledge the child's pain, while helping her to develop ways to cope with it and reinforce the sense of self that will ground her in reality! She is teaching her "YOU are always greater than your pain!" Marvelous parenting!
If that video shows up again, I will probably once again acknowledge its greatness and value!
