Interesting conversations with 'youngster's' today....

My 11 year old niece ordered a bagel today - it was multicolored, like a rainbow- she called it a 'gay-bull' 😯😮😲😅 (BTW she's a highly intelligent girl who likes to make jokes)

There aren't enough emoticons to express the range of various emotions that came to me - but I mostly tried not to laugh... I briefly explained that rainbows are rainbows and let's just appreciate that and the delicious bagel...apart from the "gay-bulls"... and the "repurposing/labeling" of rainbows.

Anyone who thinks these twists of language/symbols//innocence is 'normal' is not normal
