that the former slaves had to follow after they left Egypt
NEVER MOVED FASTER THAN THE OLDEST MAN
OR THE YOUNGEST CHILD COULD MOVE WITH IT.
It didn’t go at the runner’s pace.
A lot of people could have crossed the desert in 2 days
but that wasn’t the way God moved.
HE HAD TO BRING EVERYBODY ALONG
so it moved at a pace that everybody could move TOGETHER.
“By day the Lord went ahead of them
in a pillar of cloud to guide them on their way
& by night in a pillar of fire to give them light.”
