I imagine our perceptions are much like a machine used to test eye sight where various lens are used individually and together and you are asked, "better or worse" and then you go on to the next one.

In the case of perceptions, the various lens equate to learned information. You discern the info and decide if it helps you see the world as it is better or worse. Sometimes the info makes things very blurry and it isn't until another lens is placed on top of that one before things become clear.

Spot on! We're all in bondage together, living lies created for us generations ago. What I find amazing is that inside this cespool of darkness, the light shines brighter, bringing more souls out of the depths of trajedy.
