So what big name bands have you played with, or opened up for?

Well, for many yrs trying to put a band together and not finding right people...I joined a band called Mad Jones Band named after the bassist/song writer Madelynn Jones...and i Loved our name: Mad Jones Band! Multi-racial 6 members 3 guys, 3 women, 3 black, 3 white...and WE were the Big Band when we showed up! There was a show we opened for a Beach Boys member who couldn't use the name cuz their history/story is FULL of sketchy stuffs and people...so in business they are brutal. We played lots of great shows, biggest was at The International Street Fair in Santa Ana Ca...many thousands of people come from all over the world with their cultural foods, beers, bands, and anything else to sell...we headlined the mainstage the last day of the weekend. Its a big deal here if u get that gig. We were FREAKIN STOKED!!! It was 109 degrees when we took the stage at sundown...huge outdoor stage where a 4 way intersection meets...streets full of people and soundsystem heard by everyone! 🎶🤍🌴

Very nice 😁 Just curious cuz I grew up in Erie County, PA, which is only about 100 miles or less from all of Pittsburgh, Buffalo and Cleveland, so I spent a lot of my younger years traveling with the boys to see a lot of really good bands in those cities. I went to school with Chris Vrenna, who played drums for Nine Inch Nails. I also went to school with Train's lead singer Pat Monahan. Used to see his band play live downtown quite a bit before he left for Cali. Great memories 😎

That's cool! I'm not so familiar with them...I wasnt listening to bands...I was trying to form one...and just playing. I never was a fan of many bands during the '90s forward mostly cuz I didn't listen...heck I didn't even really listen to mine once it was recorded...I was recording more all the time. When I lost it all due to fauci and later this shitshow due to TDS...I began listening to my music. Ive reacquainted myself with my music and damned if there's not hundreds of them! Thanks for sharing that...I went to high school with a guy my age 15-17 who played EVERYTHING I Loved...and he played like my heroes at 15! I was I awe of him. I expected to see him suddenly huge and famous one day...but it didn't happen. If anyone on social media wants to help me find him he is Gilbert Arciniega...or Gib. He got with a guy who kinda sucked and idk where he went after that...I can find them all except Gib. On utube: Harlin WITH Gib has several vids. Not great, but those are my friends backing.
