Live in WI, too. Really noticed a lot of them right before we got that heat wave a couple weeks ago. Strange.

Yep, and always before the snow/rain events and high winds. I can also smell the different chemicals they spray on different days. Sometimes it's fertilizer smell and other times it's like a cotton candy type smell.
