In 2021, the tide has made the canals of Venice very shallow. This seems normal for a city that rests on water, but a very interesting picture opened up to us.
In the photos, you can see that the bottom of the canal has a stone structure and the steps of all the houses go down to the bottom of the canal. In other words, people used to walk here, not swim on boats.
