If your pastor preaches about gun control this Sunday you need to find a new church.

The omnipotent, omnipresent does not need:
intermediaries
books
buildings
robes
jewels
gold
community power
...these are all trappings of crowd control.
It just needs our attention... the very thing we are being distracted from, by all the things they say we need, to be allowed to worship...
Oh, and the ceremonial cannibalism... no, just no.

Thank you.
I am sorry you have had to go through divorce... very hard on the soul.
I tried church when I was a kid, but, apart from the singing - I had absolutely no used for it... I just never went back, other than to admire works of art or craftsmanship in various churches...
However, I did, get married in church... my gut said we needed a ceremony, more than the registry office, and, the vicar was a very nice chap... We had a lovely day, even the weather cooperated. 😊 My husbands family are traditionally religious (he is not), but he felt as I did, that the day would be marked by the setting, and a bit of ritual... that was 30 years ago - seems like yesterday.
Of course, back then, I had no idea of all the evil gathered around us, or, that I would have the view of religion, that I have now, all these years later.

Yes, animals are truthful, in everything they do... they never lie.
I have 2 cats, 8 chickens, and a horse, and I think being in the presence of truthful beings, really does help make living in this world bearable.
Being in the 'now' with them, helps to reset ones outlook, a kind of 'defragging', it clears ones mind of clutter.
Its funny, we say 'in the NOW', (particularly when dealing with horses), but in reality, there really only is the past, and the future, because the microsecond the present is identified, it is already the past.
Well, I am headed to the hills, I am still recovering from a compression fracture of the L1 (I think there is some hip involvement too - I get to hear the MRI results on Friday.) and I had hay delivered today. The delivery chap was very chatty, so I was standing for nearly 2 hours... now I'm a bit sore. Tylenol will fix it, but it tires me out... 😖
Have a peaceful night.

Good morning.
I hope your pain is gone today. I am sending positive vibes your way.
My injury was due to the saddle slipping - my horse has 'mutton shoulders'... so now I have a 5 point breast plate to keep everything where it belongs 😊
This winter has been so long and cold, (much more than normal for the area), and being reduced to vital maintenance only movement around the property has made it seem interminable too, but it got to 68° yesterday, and there is definitely a quickening in the air, so I am hoping we will have a good Spring - that flows into Summer, unlike last year where we had lovely weather, that caused the fruit trees to blossom, followed by one night of spiteful 22°, that killed them and the leaves tool... we had no fruit at all, and the trees had to grow new leaves. Very disappointing.
Dealing with the animals and garden means I am outside quite a bit - the weather has been a bit different each year.
Well, back to it, take care.
