I see the comment re him being JAG and Seal...
My only comment - he would not have had time to sleep if he were doing both these jobs... imo.

I think whom ever entered those military dates did so in REVERSE
They put the year in the day slot and the day in the year slot
As in today would be 26 MAR 23 (correct)
As opposed to 23 MAR 26 (incorrect)
But that's just my opinion

On an official document, they would not enter the date, year first, mil is very specific about that kind of thing.
I do not doubt he was a JAG - but not a JAG and Seal... the time taken doing either would preclude the time to do the other - both are time intensive jobs.
