Yep...I've had the 3rd degree too in the past. I knew they would ask anywhere from 8 to $10K....but didn't realize they'd ask at $2K much less...$5K. I just told them hubby was thinking about a larger purchase. Peace of mind can be a purchase right? Just "buying" it from and for ourselves. ;) 💁😁

Yep...I anticipated that...so JUST IN CASE wrote at the top of my own personal cash breakdown request..."for my debt payment envelopes"...and I verbally said...I just need it broken down so I can divvy it out to my bill envelopes. You know...Dave Ramsey and all..." They said..."Oh yah...I know several people that do that." Done and done.

Yes...true...but we willingly signed our money over to the bank when we deposited it....so I guess they feel like it's their money now and they are graciously allowing us to have some of it back. lol. Bankers be like....

We signed it over to them to use, temporarily, and make money of of it. It is still ours to receive at our calling. Don’t give them the power of thinking it is theirs.
