on the battlefield
first in Special Forces searches
first out of the helicopter
first to enter the D.U.M.B.S.
first to detect the enemy,
first to detect bombs, children, body parts,
adrenochrome, drugs & gold.
“As of 2015 there were 2,500 war dogs,
700 deployed overseas.
They fulfill a variety of roles
on & off the battlefield:
Fighting, transportation & location
keeping morale high
detection & tracking, scouting
& acting as sentries.
All Military dogs are eligible for adoption.”

How very sad…. For them! Dogs, in my belief system are one of God’s greatest gifts of unconditional love to humanity.
