I know this is going to sound ridiculous but AU reminds me of my doG so much. It was part of my morning ritual login in AU with her by myside.

Not ridiculous at all, there are things I do, see even smells that bring back memories of everyone and everything I have ever cared about and they are specific to that person or animal.
Every time I see a red wagon I see my Jack Russell pulling my daughter around the yard in it, when I see a fly fishing lure I think of my Father, when I see a old military plane I think of my Grandfather.
My last dog Skip was a Schipperke, he would meet me EVERY day when I would come home from work, he would jump on door sill as soon as I would open the door, he even did this after we went blind, he would hit his head on the door but it never slowed him down, I still think of him almost every day when I pull in to my house.
