I grew up in Bridgeton MO where nuclear waste was dumped in the local landfill, and it leaked into the creek waters.
"Atomic Homefront" (2017 release; 90 min.) is a documentary about a massive nuclear waste site right in the middle of the northern St. Louis suburbs, and how it is affecting the surrounding communities.
Now 6-7 decades on, there is an alarming rise in people getting sick, and/or getting cancer and/or dying.

They did eminent domain on my entire neighborhood and the land went to the airport for a billion dollar boondoggle runway they hardly ever used. The entire community was displaced and everyone had to move.
My childhood bedroom and home is now part of the St Louis County airport runway that hardly ever gets used.
Everyone thinks it was a scam to do that to us. It caused a lot of trauma.
The community is Carrollton Subdivision.
Between the nuclear waste and eminent domain issues, it devastated an entire Christian community.
And it caused cancer and other autoimmune diseases. Lots of it. Plus extreme trauma to an entire community.
We have had no justice from any of it. I almost never talk about it. The houses are all gone now. Knocked down. Schools gone. All wiped out. Fook the corruption. I believe a lot of money passed under the table over all of this.
