A fake invasions is not too difficult, but does involve some planning
One can have the invasion in
1. a remote corner of the world with little to no civilization
2. have multiple invasions airing in different areas in the world, of multiple locations - have to be non-native (more difficult but can be done)
3. have an actual physical one "everyone" sees- way to bland but possible
