Hitler commandeered the swastika allegedly cuz he saw it on a grave and thought it looked cool. But what's the real story behind it?
Was Hitler's use of a once religious/spiritual symbol a way for the Elites to make the symbol illegal so we wouldn't investigate its origins further? Or was Hitler attempting to tell us something by using this symbol?

From what I remember hearing
The reason why the Swastika is on point is to turn it's once positive usage into a negative one
He basically commandeered it
But if one wants to understand historically why they took one, one has to look up the Thule Society that first used the Swastika before the German Workers Party utilized it - Hitler partially mirrored the German Workers party after the Thule to a degree
You're also going into Madame Blavatsky, Aleister Crowley, Nietzsche, Freud, Jung, etc - talk about a rabbit hole !
----------
National Socialism itself is not a political and economic ideology, but rather a gnostic-religious philosophy that is quasi-mystical and pagan (German pre-Christian) in practice (ex: secret, knowledge of transcendence and ancient cultural worship).
Another word is Neopaganism
On the surface it was social Darwinism, (wrapped in Pan-German and Christian Socialism), with a bit of Marxism.
