Fellow Californian who also is able to survive and afford the utilities,food and fuel here. Born and raised here. Despite the bullshit and NONSENSE Im not leaving! Hello neighbor, I'm in SoCal. I too am one in a million that saved, thank God.
My monthly utilities are over $1000 monthly with water! I used to be able to save a little on electricity in the winter months but not now. Even my electric bill is $370 this month but that's a lot cheaper than the natural gas bill of $450. $450 is way cheaper than it could have been because gas co kept sending emails on price hike. I try keeping my thermostat low and wear layers.
Also went on gas account and my daily use was $39 IN ONE DAY to run my jacuzzi. So that is now off limits for us
