The Podesta brothers were patrons of an artist/sculptor named Patricia Piccinini. She created very life-like disturbing likenesses of hybrid monsters, often depicted menacing and frightening small children (think Monsters Inc.). There is a famous one-hundred year old short story written by H. P Lovecraft entitled "Pickman's Models." Pickman painted scenes with horrible ghouls. At the end of the tale the shocked narrator comes to understand they are drawn from life. So with Piccinini. They shove the horror of what they are doing in our faces.
