Mostly good. My son turned 18 so that was a real blast celebrating him. My wife’s family are crazy left wing liberals and for years they’ve been gritting thier teeth and giving us the stink eye because we openly support Trump. We all just pretended to not care about politics. Wifey was stating a fact about the Q Club shooting and our “woke” nieces freaked out! (married couple, them/ they, geeen har). Huge fight ensues. Wifey and I fight off accusations of nazi sypathism despite the fact my family is Jewish. Went down hill from there. I knew in my heart that God would bring our divide to a head and boy did he. On the bright side we had a real quite New Years! Hope you are well and best wishes for 2023! Gonna be on AU more in New Year! ❤️🙏🇺🇸

Hey PN, just seeing ur post for first time here. Are you still in Denver area? My hubby & I left out of Conifer in 21', couldn't deal with the many changes we saw coming there. Sad to see this division amongst so many families. Who knows how they will react to all the factual disclosures coming out. Glad u are here.

Still here. Selling our home in Spring and will move to Mountains and buy as much land as we can muster! Hunkering in now to get through this winter.🙏

We were in mts at 9000'. Had only 1 acre on the side of the mt but wasn't much use. All rock. Moved to MT with 5 acres of flat land so we could grow food & have more freedom. I really hope CO turns around, a beautiful state. Poll-ass along with Chicken-looper really changed things. Was getting crowded even where we lived along 285 & we stopped going into Denver the last few yrs we were there, sad as it had a lot to offer,but the homeless & riots turned us off. Sold our house in April 2021 in 1 day with 4 offers over asking price. I wish you much luck & hope you find a good plot of land!

Been looking at Whitefish Montana too. looks beautiful.

We call it "Weird-fish", extremely liberal there. It is slowly becoming a mini Cali. We are in lower valley of Kalispell near BigFork. A good 30 minutes from Whitefish. It is beautiful there but beautiful here too. We are about 1 mile north of Flathead Lake which is gorgeous. The further you get from Whitefish it becomes more conservative, so depends on what you are looking for. Whitefish is much more expensive as well as far as land & real estate go. Bought our land in 2020 & it's tripled in price since. many from WA, CA, OR, ID, MN, IL, WI moving here. I would suggest visiting here before you decide if you can, that's what we did. Spent a week here looking around.

Want to find a way to have a River access. My son and I love to fly fish. love Bozeman but so expensive. Give me some iseaa there whwre to look!?!

Ooh, my husband is a huge fly fishing nut as well, but has not had time to really do any good fishing as we have been busy moving into this house since Jan 2022 & getting settled. Have a neighbor who is retired & fishes all the time but he's gone for the winter.Depends on what you want to spend. If you want property on a river it will cost you, but there are multiple points of river access here especially if you have a boat. We had a nice piece of land in Fairplay, CO where he went fishing all the time on the Platte River. So pretty, we miss that place, but......A lot of MT has gotten expensive in past 2 yrs with a lot of people now "finding" it & wanting to move out of lib cities. The cities here tend to be more liberal as all cities usually are, college towns. I'll ask hubby places to fish here. We don't get the nice sunshine here all year like CO though, so be aware of that. Something I miss. But love the peeps here! NW of Kalipsell towards Libby is a bit cheaper.
