We took blood for granted, something to gain without work.
A lot of us realized that family would rather listen and trust a stranger than someone that sleeps beside them.
I hear stories of health care professionals could not even convince their own loved ones not to take the shot.
How absurd would it sound to tell someone you got poison by a stranger as you puke.
When they asked what happened, you tell them they gave you something to taste/try.
Imagine the look on their face.
