I just like getting the family together, and this was the time everyone wanted to do this... but once phones came along, the gatherings became boring... none events... thanks to the all pervasive phones.

Not me. Sisters married losers and jerks who i couldnt stand. Turns out i was right about them too. Precisely correct in my assessment of who they were. I wasnt happy to be around them and play xmas. Its not easy being that guy...this world was excruciating before my favorite President came along. I never understood how people just went along with "tradition" that seemed like such BS to me. When POTUS said Merry Christmas i nearly cringed everytime...but the thought IS lovely...just not the way people become IF u do the shopping like "ur supposed to". Meaning: xmas always made me contemptuous toward people. Not exactly the Christmas spirit, admittedly. And when POTUS says we love the police officers and stand with them...i felt he was exposing them to us...and noone saw that. That thin blue line bullshit flag REALLY bugs the fuck out of me.
