I’m touched by your words & know your pain! I believe that our loved ones are not far from us! My Mom passed away this year & she guides me everyday! I’m not really good at going within, meditation, etc, as I can’t quiet my mind & my Mom knows this, so I will get angel numbers or synchronicities or songs, or intuitively I will feel energies (I call them swirls) when something I’m currently pondering over resonates!
So, I don’t know if you believe in that kind of stuff but I do know I was challenged during my Mom’s transition (pure Hell), so I was angry, sad, happy, I mean the whole gammit of emotions and like you the journey back to self! I’m not the kind of person to ask for help or support but I do know you found a good spot when you landed here on AU, and I send you peace & love when your thoughts ponder how & why you are here, guided I’m sure by those we loved & our God given light within🙏

Thank you for sharing your story. There was so much pain, anxiety and hurt to go thru that and to have to make the decision to take her off life support I am sure it was heartbreaking. Such a wonderful milestone for you to be even able to talk about it. Take one hour at a time, one day at a time and one week at a time to heal from your grief. Our grief journeys are all so unique. we're here for you. ty for sharing. what i think imo is that alot forget that we are humans regardless of the knowledge we've obtained over the yrs. some days are better than others and its when we're in those moments that we should pull together as a family. most of us i believe have minimal families and this has become our new home and family. its nice to know that most of the time we can tell one another about our thoughts feelings and emotions here. i personally find au to be my comfort zone, even though i still find that some here still think that they are better than others. i hope your day is spent with happy memories and love. if not talk to us, we'll alwaus be here for you.
