The only suggestion I would make on the diet tonic water, is to use Canada Dry. They don’t use any artificial sweeteners at all. All the other brands I’ve checked uses aspertame in the diet ones.

I wouldn't use diet tonic water. Just use distilled water for the home made hcq.
