He's mostly correct. I do believe there will still be middle class though at a much smaller proportion that at present.
Some jobs cannot be completed by AI or robots. The trades will still be needed in proportion to the surviving population. On-site jobs requiring skill, dexterity, and troubleshooting. Maintaining machines, robots, and vehicles requires hands on. They will trend more towards being a knowledgeable engineer than grunt labor.
