Exactly!
And that is on the way!
A carton of eggs is now between $7.50 and $12.00.
People will not be able to sustain at these levels.

Well, I am not doing fear porn, just basic preparedness.
My family has a trucking business and cattle farm. Our trucks tho are gravel and dirt not long hauling, but I can tell you that whether we run out of diesel or not there is a breaking point where trucking companies will not be able to AFORD to continue to run AND these trucks break down all the time and there will be a point where parts will take them off the roads too.
As for the cattle, there was a very good report done recently, in depth reflecting that since there is not enough grain to feed cattle and other livestock like hogs, ranchers have sold off an reduced the size of herds to dangerous levels because they could not aford to feed them.
That is why we have had mostly plenty of meat thro now.
But, the report was right, there will be shortages coming because you can not grow a calf to slaughter size in just a few weeks, Bison takes 2yrs so guess what!
This is why Nana has been canning pork & beef.
