i was only 6 years old when it happened but i remember feeling sad. I knew something bad was going on! There’s not much i remember as a very young child but i still remember the feelings around me.

I was also 6 and at my gradeschool going up the steps to my classroom when the announcement over the intercom came of JFK passing. I stood on the steps and looked out the windows as the flag to our gradeschool was lowered to half staff and started crying and just felt extremely sad. 😢😢
