I read a long post on 4chan about Antarctica last night and the OP had a buddy from the military who'd been assigned down there. They partied for weeks and he learned all kinds of bizarre things about Antarctica. Very bizarre. The large halls are buried under hundreds of feet of snow and contain many things none of our scientists could understand. Hundreds of guys died from booby traps trying to access displays or enter rooms. There were cryptic puzzles to decypher how to access them and they used robots a lot or even third world people. One Russian soldier drank a liquid he thought would give him some kind of power or insight but it ended up killing him horribly. There's information about the missing bible chapters there and the anti-Christ is supposed to be frozen there. All of it was created by hyper intelligent beings that designed murals showing events that will happen in the future or already happened, like 9-11. Movies and TV series have had plots based on things learned there.
