I think back to my sons birth and how 'awake' I thought I was, rejecting all vaccines etc and then I realise how stupid I was agreeing to donate some cord blood for research for premature babies as he was born almost 6 weeks early, thinking I was helping kids in the future.

when my son was born 14 years ago he was born with a cleft lip and cleft palate, The photographer came into my room and said we didn’t take your sons picture we didn’t think you would want pictures of him looking like that. I was so pissed at the time how could you say that to a mother. My baby boy was and is beautiful.I’m glad now that they didn’t take his picture.

HASCO First Foto or now called Growing Family. I used to work for them in the 90's. Based in St. Charles, MO. I was a camera technician and repaired the cameras. Eventually worked with the engineering team to develop the digital system you are talking about. At that time they still had 35mm storage as well as the new digital storage and were only allowed to keep them for 2yrs. Especially the film storage as that takes up physical storage. As for now, who knows. One cool memory was getting to see Michael Jackson's kids before most the world.

They did identification cards at my kids daycare when they were young. Fingerprinted and all. Supposing in case they were kidnapped. I didn't know at that time that we needed to protect them from our own Government.

"big" tech has really ramped up the info required to get through to what you need. recently i had to file something through the state, and had to go through IDme, upload 4 official doc's with my name, addy, one was birth cert, one was ssn. then i had to upload a selfie and have a f2f voice chat with a rep. left me uncomfortable cuz of what can be done with it. then ran into a situation where another was requiring voice recordings.
