1/ Although they seem to work in parallel, there is no indication that the spiritual realm is antithetical to the physical realm, in fact, all indications point towards the fact that both form a smooth cooperative system without which humans could not form metaphysical concepts. We do. A lot.

Every time you take a trait of reality at face value, usually a human trait, then use this trait as a justification as to why it prohibits you from a greater spiritual emancipation, you are probably on the wrong line of thought.

Philosophically, I abhor the school of thought of monism but when it comes to the relationship between the physical and spiritual realms, it's the only one that can stand in this case.

So, the next time you claim that "thinking too much or too logically" or that you are concerned about your current state of affairs in terms of your personal cognitive world (ie. thinking "through the ego" as new-agers would say) ask yourself the consequences of this recommendation

2/ Another classic one is "don't judge"...

It so happens that humans need to learn. You can claim that "you learn by not considering what you learned in the past" but that's not how it works down here and since the spiritual realm has to be in line through coherency and consistency here is what's going to happen.

You'll end up in the spiritual realm one day, there is no avoiding this. You'll meet "people" and they will be very surprised that you where in a physical realm and you thought that: not doing what is required of you in that physical realm in order to emancipate yourself as a being was something you thought was a good idea.

They will know that you have horrible judgement.

But then you'll tell them "don't judge"

They will be stunned and probably avoid you in the future.

3/ It's like having a friend over and he looks at your plants then says:

- "You know what would be super good about your plants?"
- "No what?"
- "You should stop watering them, that would be way better for them."

Now you'll say that I'm only using a physical situation to examplify the absurdity. Guess again, a universal law is: Doing all the things needed to make sure that you emancipate yourself nicely is positive.

For humans, or souls in humans, whatever floats your boat... doing human things at the moment is not only the whole point but the only way you can emancipate yourself.

4/ I'll conclude with an example, I'm not super good at them so we'll see :)

I'll explain the road towards emancipation down here, in harmony with both the physical and spiritual realm and probably the best way to develop a spiritually also.

You are new at carpentry and you keep hitting yourself on the thumb while hammering nails.

The road to success is not to claim that hammering nails is a bad thing that prohibits your advancement

The road to success is to think, analyse, judge, practice, etc. hammering nails until it becomes something you do without thinking.

Only then can your mind preoccupy itself of greater matters.

See, it's not like the new-age people claim... it's not about "not having an ego", "not judging", "not over-thinking", instead it's about doing that A LOT, until you tempered your character enough to understand how you function internally (meaning epistemically) and go on to higher things.

5/ I hope I don't offend people with this.

Polish yourself through very human actions the nooks and crannies will dissappear and once you go to the spiritual realm, your efforts will make everyone happier, including yourself.

If you took shortcuts or fell for "magical-thinking", you will probably be the one that will decide to come back for another round because you didn't quite get it.

There I said it.
