But people need to know what in involved with having animals - otherwise we end up with rescue situations... and that must be avoided whenever posdible.

My horse was a rescue, he was fortunate that there was a horseman who lived nearby, to his original breeder or he would have been dead before he was a year old.

There are those who will rush into this - then regret it.

I am not believing for one minute that the same creator that created this world and everything in it, is going to allow the wicked to go unpunished. Call it wrath, justice, whatever, but it isn't going to happen. I do believe God is a God of love, but also of justice. Our problem is we believe this is God's world so we have a hard time comprehending WHY God would allow such suffering and horrible things to happen to the just. This isn't God's world. HE told us that. Our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.
